Second Chance Pc's of Illinois is a Not-For-Profit 501-c3 Chairitable Organization that takes in new and used pc's and laptops as donations. We then repair, fix, or refurbish these machines for donation to other Not-For-Profit Organizations Such as Missionaries, World help Groups Org., Churches etc. and families that can afford them.
Hard drives are reformated to remove any Personal Info. with a Government low level formating soltware which zeros the drive back to its original specs and this does work. Hard drives that don't work are destroyed. The other machines that are not repairable are dissmantled for parts for other machines to get them in running condition. All the rest of the pieces are recycled. We also destroy any hard drives upon request.
All donated computers and laptops that were used for personal or business are, (tax deductable) and are reformated to remove any Personal Info., also any money donated is also tax deductible. Any money donated is used for computer tools, suppies, pickups, deliveries, office supplies and other donations.

Also Software for these machines, Recovery Cd's, Resource Cd's, System Software Cd's, Application Cd's and Operating System Cd's all makes and models.
We also build custom computers for those who need them We also can install any of your softwear like Office, Audio editing, Video editing software etc. We do upgrades and repairs to Pc's, Laptops and Severs. We also work on and install networks.
We are also associated and friends with and help out with Pc's, Laptop's, money and other kinds of donations for the following Org's. Proton computers is one of our Friends, that takes in computers donated to us and holds them for us until We can pick them up. My Thanks to Matt the owner of Proton, and the rest of the guys for all the help they gives us.
